Im hearing the Canucks have bolstered their bottom six by signing Raffi Torres to a 1-year; 1-million dollar deal.

Good addition for the Canucks bottom six. Torres averaged 13 minutes a game last season, scored 36 points (19-17), averaged 2:15 on the PP, 0:00 on the PK and threw 84 hits in 74 games. Should be solid secondary scoring to make up for the departure of Wellwood and Demitra. Should also add some grit which was noticeably absent in the Canucks bottom six last post-season. A little concerning though given the Canucks lack of penalty killing and Torres hasn't been on a PK unit in over three years.
